Your highlight video decides
Once a coach has an opening at your position, the video is the filter. It is the one step we cannot do for you, so we tell you exactly what works:
- ✓Best clips first, never chronological. Coaches decide in the first 20 to 30 seconds.
- ✓Keep it 3 to 5 minutes, ideally around 3. Link full-match footage behind it for serious interest.
- ✓Make yourself instantly identifiable: a brief arrow or circle at clip start, or state your jersey color and number.
- ✓Show the moments before and after each action. Coaches read decision-making and off-ball movement, not just the finish.
- ✓In swimming and track, verified times are the currency. In tennis, it is your UTR. Video supports the numbers, not the other way around.
